We glued on the outwales Sunday. It’s looking more and more like a boat! Work is hard with no heat so Frank Cervi organized a crew of boatbuilders to build a tent to keep us a little warmer as we finish the still nameless gig.

Here’s the evidence, along with the hardy crew that braved the cold Wednesday. Congrats to them and to everyone else who helped us get this far.

From Another Sunday at the Boathouse

Intrepid volunteers continue work on the gig dispite the cold. Plank #4 was secured to the port side and starbord plank #4 is ready to glue next session. Only one more plank to go!

Work continues on the gig with plank #3 glued to the starboard side. Port plank #4 is cut out and ready to go. Unfortunately, building is on hold temporarily because there is no heat.

A friend of mine passed this video on to me, it’s pretty interesting and about 10 minutes long.
